Man I just want to give everyone here a hug. I put in a magnaflow #12288 in my 2007 QC 4x4 5.7 hemi last Saturday and I am experiancing exactly what ICE and a bunch of you have been talking about. I thought I was crazy and regretting the exhaust change. It boggs down at low MPH especially in parking lots or when trying to maintain 25 mph therpms drop and exhaust sound changes very deep and low like it needs more gas. I had shut my radio off now for a week trying to figure out what and when I was hearing theese changes. i am glad Im not alone.

Now will resetting the pcm help? Will adding a CAI help out somewhat? Thanks guys I thought I did my homework before my exhaust mod but I failed to check here first. I do hear that corsa builds an exhaust for mds but its only SI/SO I had the part # but misplaced it when i find it I will post. If this continues to get on my nerves I might consider it. Thanks again

Your truck is doing everything it did before the catback...you just couldn't hear it. Dodge has the stock system so corked up it sounds like a 4 banger honda...if you can hear anything at all. Did you keep the stock resonators on? I left both mine on with a magnaflow at first but it was too quiet...had a good tone though. I removed the rear resonator and it got louder...which is what I wanted.

[sm=WTFsgign.gif]i have an 08 ,, i have same prob i hate when your driving in town or school zones 10-30 mph it bogs down ,,,,,everyone on here says just step on the gas hard and it will stop ,yeah it will ,but you can't do that w/ a car in front of you !!!! how about dodge
FIXING this SH-T!!!!!!!!![sm=icon_beat.gif] wth....i rather pay $50 more a week in gas than have to deal with this mds SH-T!!!! plus i reallllllly dont see a savings with it .... i had a 04 ram hemi ,i got better mileage,,,& NO MDS ON IT ..... at a stop light ,when turning green i put my foot on gas and the dam_ truck just sets there,,, [:@]

my 04 , had so much power ,you had to touch the gas light or you'd burn out Ha Ha ,no that WAS a great truck ,,,iwould trade my truck for an 04 w/o mdsanyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![sm=boosign.gif]

Same prob here with an 08 1500 4X4 with 2100 miles on it, I can start my truck up and it idles on 4 cyl, starting off from dead stop it is 4 cyl, or 6, then you have to step on it to go and it blasts off, what a nasty system, and power, my diesel had more power and got more mpg even in a 3/4 ton truck. Took it in to the dealer, they let everyone there drive it around only to tell me it's normal operation, "the computer is still learning, it could take a couple of oil changes before it clears up" what kind of sh*% is that? A slow learner indeed, I am going crazy dealing with MDS in and out, bogging on inclines, changes gears constantly.Everythingfactory, if you find a way to turn this mess offplease let me know.
Unhappy camper

Some guys here say to drive with tow haul on or O/D off but will that hurt anything if doing it to often? I have done it and my magnaflow sounds awesome but will it hurt anything other than mpg. I just added a k&n cai helped a tiny bit but now noise in cab is louder.

does anyone know if by adding resonators right before the exhaust tips would help with mds noise
