Hi folks - new to the site. Just bought my first dodge ram a couple weeks ago - 2007 Ram QC,Black,Sport, Hemi. I was looking into getting some nerf bars for it, but i wasn't sure what are some good brands. I would like chrome to match the wheels and i would like to stay under $250. Anybody have any thoughts?

I have had 6 different sets on 6 different trucks over the last 20+ years. 4 were Westins (2 black, 2 chrome) and 2 sets were other brands. I had problems with both of the other ones ranging from step pads coming off to bad pitting (chrome) to paint flaking off (black). Never had a single issue with a set of Westins!

Yea, the signature series for Quad Cab in chrome is about $20 less than I paid for mine.
Westin's are at the higher end as far as price goes, but they are worth it. With just a little care they'll last as long as you have your truck.

I bought a cheap set of fleabay nerf bars for something like $100. After 6 months I have no issues but in the event of issues I will opt for a set of westins as a replacement.

 

I just got a set of Stainless Nerf bars for my truck off Ebay for $167.00 delivered. They arrived a just a few days. Gonna put them on this weekend. I'll report on how I like them then.
