By build sheet I assume you mean the written confirmation of what you have ordered/what they are planning on building . How do you get such an item, go through the dealership, or is this doable online?

If you have LSD you'd have a code that said "DSA - Limited Slip Axle"

DSA Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle ..... thats what it says on the build sheet

 

Damn, they must have changed it. I had the paper on my old '98 that I was quoting. The 3 code letters are still the same though. My '04 4x4 came with an open diff. (thank God) before I put the Auburn unit in...

 

Here's how I got a build sheet a few months ago, someone on this forum helped me. This was for something that was already built.

1. Go to http://www.dodge.com/en/owners/
2. Bottom right of page - click on "Contact us about" drop-down, select "Customer Assistance"
3. Middle of page - click on "Send us an email"
4. Ask for the build sheet, fill out the vehicle and customer info.

 

Thanks thebean, didn't really know what was meant by "build sheet". That'll come in handy.

 

Hey Hemi, i just sent you a PM.......I could have sworn i had the build sheet in the glove box....But it's not there now.
