free muffler
The only thing that makes rice sound like rice is that they put an open exhaust on a 1.6 - 1.8 liter engine that usually has 1.5 inch pipe leading up to the fart muffler.
I had a flowmaster 2.5 inch on my 89 Mirage turbo. It sounded nothing like an ear-splitting Honda and was quite a bit quicker too. With minimal mods it trapped in the 102-103 mph range and still got a solid 34 mpg during a 16 hour interstate trip at 80 mph.
