tdmopar - I just finished reading the Amsoil site and they are claiming a 3-5% increase in fuel mileage and sometimes up to 8-10%. I have a hard time believing that - did you notice any mpg increase when switching to Amsoil?

the 180 t-stat is a great mod, i have on my truck and i live in michigan and i still get plenty of heat in the truck...i've always used Mobil 1, but like Greg, i switched to Amsoil and highly doubt i'll ever go back to anything else...hope ya have fun on the forum and find all the answers your looking for

 

hmm... i might have gotton slightly better gas mileage but you gotta remember 3-5 percent is only gonna be a difference of about .3 miles to the gallon... still something but it runs all smooth and nice and you know you are treating it right... just my .02

All the megacabs are like that. The megacab is built on the 2500 QC longbed frame and they just kept HD parts and badged it a 1500. The '06's are the same.
