Surprise!!!!
Was buffing & "Flixing" my wheels (next set of polished aluminum wheels I get will either be poly coated or I'm gonna coat them). I hate that white oxidized film that gets on them. Anyway, I notice a nice, clean rectangular spot on the inside, where the brake dust isn't near as much as the rest of the inside. Dawned on me that my weights are gone! A quick check resulted in finding that three of my four tires were like that!
Was gonna have the dealer rotate my tires this week, so, I'll let the dealer balance all four while they have them off. The balance is $20 and the rotation is $20, so I figure $40 & saving me from having to rotate them myself is well worth it.
Kinda concerned over the lost weights though, these tires have only been on about 16 months or about 10,000 miles. I have off-roaded a few times (although not at all since March as I've been stuck around the house with both of my parents needing medical care). I also had them rotated in January before a trip to the Georgia farm, you'd think if they were off then, the stealership would have said something.
Also, I'm shocked that other than a slight vibration over 70 mph, nothing indicated that three of my wheels were out, and two of them had a good bit of weight added.

I'd check yerlil whitecar and yer Moms Hot Rot minivan, might be some crazy air horn blowing neighbor.
I called home after reading this and asked the wife and it looks like we are missing some too.
Might ask/look to see if the Colonel is missing any...
Oh and what is "Flixing?"

U should not have to pay for the rotation if they are balancing all 4 tires, where they put them back makes no difference to them try and save the extra money

Already thought of it when I made my appt., was told w/o paying for a rotation, they go back right where they came off.
It's the stealership, they are gonna get you any way they can, but my alternative is the tire joint in town that stripped not one, but two lugs when I took my daily driver 4 cyl. car in to have a tire patched from the inside when I went over something too big for me to plug.
You don't want to get me started on that fiasco! Let's just say I went in for a patch and left six and a half hours later with a new 13" economy tire, two welded on standard hardware store bolts with regular old nuts where two of my studs and shiny chrome lug nuts used to be and over $200 poorer!!! Suffice it to say I swore off that place for life!!!
