Body Protection

RE: Body Protection
I took my new 08 on a gravel road for the frist time a week ago and the rock chip magicly appeared. I knew better (ugh) so a set is in my future soon.
The only bit of caution I can speak of with mud flaps is if you are in tight areas where your suspention may be under load you run the risk of backing up over them if you have to use reverse. The problem with this is it usually too late when to do anything about them when your wheeling. I had a set on my last ride and I nosed in to an area and had to back up.They got pinched between my tire anda rock and ripped off. Lots of time when they dothisthere will be some fender damage also. This is from the screws pulling out of the fender.
Just FYI remember you have them on.
