Default Time for new tires.

Well its time to get new tires and I need a front end alignment. So I figured I would level my truck while I was at it. Now I know that after I level my truck I will be able to fit 35's. What I want to know now is will 12.50's fit on 17x8in wheels. My buddy says they will but a 12.50 tire on an 8 in wheel seems a little to wide. I have done some research and it looks as though everything I find says I need an 8.5 in wheel. Is this true or will they work on the 8 inch wheel?

i think there are a couple guys runnin these on their stock rims... i know a few hd's are idn how wide are rims are though..... however i am assuming you have a 1500 and with a 1500 and just a leveling kit i would recomend 33's or 285/70 r17 because a 35 would barely fit and wouldnt give you much room for suspension travel...

no that i searched through your posts i can see you drive an 04 ram 1500.. just make a sig its easier... i would also imagine it being a 4x4 hemi.. might of said it i dont remember.... it would look good with 35's but if you plan on offroading you wont have the same travel.... this is a webmaster's truck from another site he has a readylift and 35's.....

Yea I need to get around to making a sig. I don't plan on doing any offroading with it. I have a jeep CJ that I use for that. I just want it to look good. And I know down the line I will most likely need longer shocks.

90% of Jeepers run 12.50s on 8" rims.
