Also put the 50 Series HD in my 2007 RAM (SI/SO); without the resonator the drone inside the cab is very irritating to me, even though I love the sound the Flomaster puts out. Sort of stuck, with the resonator on it is too quiet, without it it is too loud in the cab...

On the other hand maybe I am just plain getting too old...

 

Sound great!! A little loud inside for me, but hey it is your truck.

 

I'm completely used to it now. Personally I thought it got quieter, but according to passengers that isn't the case. Around town I ride with the O/D off to kill the MDS. The MDS is horrible below 50, to me it sounds like my exhaust is underwater, and there is a prominant in cab vibration. Above 50 I don't have any issues with it, and highway speeds I can barely hear the exhaust... Maybe it's just me, but every once in awhile I'll turn the radio off and just listen to the sweet sounds of the pipes.

 

I put my resonator back on to soften the sound inside the cab; still has a low rumble and the MDS hardly bothers me anymore; really makes hardly any resonance inside the cab. But I would not do that if I had duals like you...

From a performance perspective we will have to see, need to drive it some more, and drive it normally versus heavy footed like I like to drive to hear that HEMI roar...

 

thanks to u man im probably goin to get the exact same system put on mine cept stright out the back i also got 3"(or 3.5") to 4" chrome (45slash) tips for the back (canadian tire specil lol)

btw wat intake system do u have on it ???? stock????

Sounds good bro...is your ram a single cab? I might need something that loud to drown out the clattering I hear in mine. I guess it's normal for the single cab 06-07's though...I test drove a few when I brought mine into the dealer and they did it under light load going around 30mphalso. Anyway nice clips..

 

Nope, it's a quad cab. I'm too clostrophobic for a single cab, lol...

that might be a good thing! my wife won't even drive my mega. to long she says and that suits me fine!lol got my 50 suv on today. tips just like urs. looks great. a little quieter,good and deep on launch,almost not there on hwy.
