2008 Ram 1500 Mega cab 4X4
I think this is the last year for the 1500 mega cab2009 will go to the crew cab (between the QC and mega). I think they will offer the Mega for the 2500/3500 for one more year until they get the lines tooled over (normal lag for the heavy-duty's). When I asked at the autoshow, the bed on the 2009 crew was too short to pull my 5th wheelhopefully, they adjust that with a 6.5' bed. Another forum member was looking at a 2008 1500 Mega 4x4 for $28k (most are pretty well loaded), so that is a $10-12k discount off MSRPa pretty good deal with the lifetime warranty and low (0% for 60 months) interest rate. I do not believe there have been any significant changes since the mega cab was released in 2006 (other than minor hemi tweaks & the SXT edition being offered).
I just bought one, it is an awesome truck. The 0% for 72 months is a great deal. Mine is the Laramie edition with pretty much everything and I got mine for around $40 out the door with the lifetime warranty on everything. Definitley the nicest truck Ive owned ever.

My wife just bought one yesterday, also a Laramie 4x4 with everything but the kitchen sink. It had 3218 miles on it when we test drove it and we got it for 29,800. Had been driven by the sales manager or owner at the dealership.
Deals are to be had if you look around. She just took a 3 hour trip andgot a little over 16mpg out of it so it is abou t what we expected.
