Motor Oil Debate
Amsoil and a wix filter is the best combination in my opinion. This has been discussed many times so do a search and it will yield great results. To sum up what you will find, Amsoil and mobil 1 are the top choices for oil and filter choices are generally K&N Gold or a Wix.
EVERYONE has a different opinion on this one. And there are test data out there to prove EVERYONE right! I've seen tests whereAmsoil was picked as the best and Royal Purple failed miserably. I've recently read a report in a hot rod magazine where Royal Purple was the best tested by far, and Mobil 1 came in dead last (ironically they chose not to test Amsoil, because they said it lacked certain certifications and as a result could not be taken seriously).
So, who the hell are you gonna believe?
In general, a high quality synthetic outperforms conventional oils, hands down. So, I guess you can start with a full synthetic, after that, it's a guessing game, but if you stay with a name brand, you really can't go too wrong.

I run Quaker state torque power full synthetic. First "cold" winter here in Florida when I first got my truck, it was 30 degrees and I cranked my Hemi and it started knocking. No problems at all since I switched to synthetic.
yeah buddy, just got this from UPS. I posted this pic in the amsoil thread as well, I just love it that much! lol
