Thanks for your service to this country.

You're realizing what I did a couple of years back. Attempting debate with some is like tilting at windmills.

All's I can say is, if you can't afford the gas you can't afford the truck! I pay $3.65 for Chevron mid-grade here in Silicon Valley. By the way, the minute they come out with a Hybrid Hemi Ram I'll be the first in line.

Politics and trucks DON'T mix. That being said,...I'm done. You all have your opinions and I have mine. I respect your right to your's. I'll keep mine.

Wasn't Carter, a democrat? That wasn't a good time to have a V8, I tell you. (I know some of you aren't old enough to remember that.)

I barely remember those times. Turned 16 in 1984 so we were just past the crisis.

Oh and Brother Rob, That's only Exxon.
Didn't mean to **** you off. Not my intent. That's why politics should stay in another forum...this one's about trucks. No matter what the reason, we are stuck with HIGH gas prices. There's nothing I can do,except try and squeeze a little more MPG out of my Hemi through mods and such. Anyway, no blood-no foul...right? Peace.

Pissed off?? Me?? Naw, no way....We had this same discussion, last year around this time.... so it's no problem....i like to hear other view points on why prices are the way they are......you read some interesting things....
But i think someone should tell SWOS Chief, that no one within the upper echelon of the military will question his loyalty, if he decided to call a spade a spade......Kind of reminds me of that story about the king who was made clothing, that was supposedly made out of invisible thread.......when actually, he was walking around naked. No one would tell him other wise, because he was the king.....

I am not pissed, moreso entertained. As for letting the "upper echlon" know, lol, I believe your signature staes you are in the military, have you let them know? Better yet, because you are so pointedly making your point to a bunch of civilians I can only gues that you also already made it to the "upper echlon", guess what, things haven't changed. So either you are preaching a line of BS you don't follow or you know as well, if not better than I do that there are some things it does absolutely no good to sit back and whine about. If you would like to further discuss this please PM me, because I am done airing dirty laundry on here, otherwise, be safe and thank you for serving your country.

Its not the $35,000+ that I paid for the truck that pisses me off... Its paying $80 to fill the tank (twice a week) and knowing the money is going to some Anti-American country thats populated with "Sand Fleas" that would kill any American in a second flat.....[:@][:@][:@]
