Default The old man wanted me to post an update on his truck.

Well I dunno if you guys remember but my dad back in march bought a 2006 Ram 1500 TRX44.7L six speed 4x4 rcsb. He got it because his GMC was a piece of junk and we saw this beauty on the lot and went for it. He knows i'm on this forum a lot and wanted me to just give an update on how the beast is doing.
Well it's at 13k miles now and it's the best truck he's ever owned. He loves it to death. To see the smile on his face whne he's runnin through the gears after a stop light is awesome. the guy works his azz off to help me go to college and It makes me happy to see him having something he deserves. It has great power runs great and has not even had a stutter since we bought it. It's shaping up to be the best purchase he's made in quite some time. I'll try to get pics but they will be off a cell phone so I dunno what'll happen hopefully I can just copy past em in here.

buy one of those leveling kits like greg has....i think he has the one that is just the 2" rubber spacer that goes inbetween the spring and spring cup on the top

yea I don't think that'd work with a 1500 specially since his is a 4x4 I think that means torsion bars. dunno really waht torsion bars are but I know they are like springs.

crank the torsion bars up...can usually get about 1 1/2" lift out of em, maybe more

I put one on mine last week. I really like the look. Plus, it'll be a bit easier to wiggle up under there and work on the dirty side. Here's a "before" and "after".
