I live in Upland, Ca. The Dodge dealer service depts. around here will pretty much hose you on the rates. Try a small auto repair shop in Upland called Green's Auto Tech (909-931-5115). Theirrates are very reasonable and they have worked on most of my vehicles at one point or another ranging from my '72 Charger to my 2005 Ram Daytona. The Daytona was recently traded in for a Ram 2500 Diesel, but they did all of the maintenance work on it while it was under warranty and what few warranty claims I had were honored (by the dealer)when I showed the maintenance receipts from Green's.

Ahaaaaaa......it was the dang belt. Dammit I should've gotten it fixed weeks ago because since I haven't driven it the battery is now dead.. Oh well that's again what I get for being a lazy cheapass. Hopefully this will fix it and I'll be able to finally start driving it again.

Thanks for your help everyone.

Just hope that the belt is the only problem and be happy with that.

True, belts don't just break/ fall off for no reason. Check the tensioner too. It might not be a bad time to fix the power steering pump since it is already leaking.

Belts break for any number of reasons. They get old, they get cut, a pulley ceases and they get worn through.
