No way will the dealer give you $12,100 for your trade. That is more than I paid for my brand new '07 off the lot. I think somewhere between 8-9 is probably right.

 

speaking of price range is the 06 financed and if so, where are you in principle/payoff. are you upside down or paid off?

 

It would depend on what they gave me as to whether I was upside down. I owe just under 9k. When I worked at the dealer there were many times where we would give someone the trade value of their vehicle but it would depend on what they were trading for. My grandpa recently traded his 99 powerstroke into the Dodge dealer and the trade in book according to KBB on his truck was 11k and they gave him 11k. But once again it depends on what you are trading for as he was buying a 2007 Laramie Hemi.

 

I went and looked at it tonight however I didn't take my truck as I figured that would add pressure. I didn't drive it yet as they were about to close when I got there. It's super clean but I still think my truck looks better. I like the 06 and up front end better and mine just looks more sporty. They use Edmunds to come up with their prices using the Edmunds True Market Value. I checked it online and got within 50 dollars of what they have it priced at. I asked him what they would use for trade and he said Edmunds True Market Value as a Trade in. When I got home I checked Edmunds on mine and the funny thing is that my truck actually is worth a little more using edmunds because it allows me to add for my limited slip. So it will be interesting to see what they really say now if I have them look at it andgive me avalue.The truckalso has asuperram sticker on the backand altezzas which I dislike so I'm trying to picture it with my rims,stock tailights, and noSuper Ramsticker. I've never seen the Super Ram sticker but it looks like a Daytona or Rumble bee stripe and says Super Ram on it.

Also Catus your truck looks good as a long bed.I couldn't see your pics because a lot of times my work computer blocks avitars. It must be the color and havingthe newer front end but I like yours a lot better than the one I'm looking at.
