Default CAI damaged

This may be a dumb question, but I got my cai in from shipment and both ends of the aluminumtubing were bent slightly. My question is, as long as the rubber fitting attaches securely will the system still work properly?

Seriously - it's not under pressure or anything. If the silicone boots cover it and everything hooks up properly, no one will know except you.
