Default bigest tire size

I have a 2007 1500 stock ram( no lift ) . It has 17 inch rimsand I was wondering how big of a tire can you put on these rims without it rubbing or having to get a lift ? And if ya go that big will you notice a big change in fuel economy ?

Do a search man. there are a ton of threads on this in here. 33's seem to be the biggest with no rubbing, or go the metric equivilent.

The 305/70/17 is about the biggest that I've seen multiple people have good results with.

donnyandashley,
Are the pics in your gallery showing the Maxxis Bighorns? If not, can you post some of them?

I believe 34" are the biggest you can go without a suspension lift or leveling kit. I have 33" Bridgestone A/T Dueler Revo's on mine and they actually helped my economy.

If you go to a leveling kit you should be able to tuck 35s in there. thats what I did and they look great and no rubbing
