i got a set for mine the other day. i havnt put them in yet but my dad has an 05 ram 4.7 and he had stock gears and went up to 3.92's and could tell a big difference. then he put the heavy *** stock 20's on it and lost the get up. im planning on runnin the 3.92's with my stock 17' alloys and should pep up quite a bit.

This is a pretty good chart showing gears VS. tire size I know most of these guys here would recommend 4.10s or even 4.56s..... http://www.4wheelparts.com/gear_ratio.html

The higher the number the lower the actual gearing is the more torque/acceleration you will have..

If you are going to do it, do it right. 4.10's for non-towing applications with standard size tires up to about 33's. 4.56's for towing or any tires over 33".

I am going to be running 34.1 inch tires after christmas and was wondering how much it would cost me to get new gears installed. And how long I can drive on the gears I have now.
