Default I need some Hemi help...

Hey guys, a guy I work with is looking for a new truck, all he can find are diesels. He got a call today from a dealer that has a 05 Dodge Ram Hemi 5.7 w/30,000 miles on it, it is 4x4, quad cab SLT...they are asking $24,000.00 for it...is this a good deal is what he is asking. So I came to the place with the folks that lnow the most about this rig, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Sharky

If he's willing to spend that much, if he can find a new 07 out there, chances are he could talk the dealers down to around that price with ease.... Everyone's trying to get rid of all their 07 inventory

+1 New '07 4x4 Hemi SLT's are about $37k list here with about $11k off in rebates, incentives, dealer discounts, here in Fl...
Hell, I'm seeing 5.9 CTD 4x4's in the low $30's here, seems EVERYBODY around here is opting for the new 6.7, and they can't move the 5.9's. I wish I didn't have over $10k in mods in my Hemi that I'd never recoup or I'd jump on one in a heartbeat...

Seems way too much. I've not shopped new, but I bet the guys are right... That's new truck territory.
