Default NO BRAKE LIGHTS

I have a quad cab 02 long bed 1500 and when I press my brake pedal, only the left top light comes on. The left bottom bulb and the right top & bottom bulb doesnt come on. If I turn on the head lights they call come on but nothing for brakes. I have changed the bulbs for all and still nothing. I took the lighting setup from right side and placed it on the left and bulbs only lit for the parking light but nothing when I placed my foot on the brake. Any help is greatfully accepted.

Did you check your fuses? I am not sure what fuse number, the cover is labeled or it is in the owners manual. could be a bad ground too.

I put a test light on all the fuses and they all show working. Ground line was checked and it seemed ok.

I had an 02 QC, and someone put an aftermarket trailer light plug on it before I bought it. As I remember it was a "T" plug that you put into a wiring harness plug on the back. Might check and see if there are any plugs. As I remember, the plug was in the harness near the back bumper. If You do find the plug check it with a test light, while the lights are on. I had a 94 dakota that the headlight switch shorted out on...but that was a stretch.

Good luck
