Broken mirror on a 2006 Diesel
Hey guys, how's it going? I did a quick search, but didn't see anything relevant so I'm hoping you don't mind helping me.
My mom has a broken driver's side mirror, but it's broken in such a way that it rotates forward further than it should. Does anybody know if she can just get a replacement part that stops it from rotating too far? Apparently, the local dealer wants $450 for a new mirror.

Don't pay that price. You can buy the same mirrors as a kit for $363.00 retail. The kit comes with both left and right mirrors. It is a kit to add mirrors to a truck that didn't come with trailer tow mirrors from the factory. Part # 82207298. You might not need both mirrors but it is cheaper than buying 1 mirror. This is for the flip up tow mirrors. And if her truck doesn't have the tow mirrors, I might have a regular mirror that was taken off a truck when the tow mirrors were added. Will sell cheap if thats what you need. If you have regular mirrors PM me the VIN and I will see ifI have a used mirror.Pm me if you need more info on this......
the really wierd and anoying issue with dodge 2500 is the rims/tires stick out a lot in the fender's, A rock struck the glass on the drives side mirrior of my truck, just a wired flucky thing when I turned onto a graverl road, I don't have the trailer two mirriors, just the 6x9 ...
Parts/Service.
Is that price for standard flip mirrors, or for the heated power ones? I want a set in a bad way, but since i have heat in my little mirrors i would like to keep it.
