Default Price help. What price should I aim for? real time

Hey everyone,
I am ready to pull the trigger on the new 2007 Hemi Quad cab 4x4 long bed, thunder road. The sticker is $38,750. Over the summer when I priced the truck the lowest they would go was $29,700 (without tax added in). Now here it is almost Dec, and it is a total leftover. Any ideas what I should aim for in terms of price?

Thank you,
Zack

$12K off is the norm around here on a $33K '07 Hemi Big Horn, sothe most you should pay I'd say is $26.7K. But I'd bet you could get it for $24K to $25K + TTL.

'08 Quad Cab Hemi Big Horns are advertised for $9K to $11K off in the L.A. area, so if the dealer stands hard on $29.7K for the '07, I'd start shopping for an '08.

Good luck, let us know what happens!

I HATE! The entire process of buying a new truck. I will shoot for $25,000 out the door, but that might be hard. I will deal with the price first, then move to dealing with my trades.

I hate the entire process from buying from a dealership period. New or used. Probably because I hate haggling.

The only exception would be those no-haggle places like Carmax and there you have to wait for the right deal to come along. Since they price at retail most of their inventory is overpriced but you can find a gem now & then.

Hopefully my 2003 Ram will be my last ever dealer purchase. I hope to do cash deals from individuals from now on out.

They saw you coming. They have over $7500 in dealer money from Chrysler to play with before taking even a dollar off on their end or kick back money at the end of the month. Average deals here in Fl. are taking $11 to $12k off the sticker on leftover '07s.
They can afford to sell you that truck for under $26k and still make it worth their while...
