5/8 plyywood, cheap, and the best part is, I can screw down 2x4 cleats with out hitting the bed, also when camping a queen size bed, is in the bed, 2x6 across the widyth of the box, just over the wheal wells and thiers more tools than I can list stashed in cubby holes I have made, in the box.

umm a mixture of beer cans beer bottles tow straps it covers the bed does that count?
