07 1500 with 2500 springs
CV joints Suck ... You have them on the 1500, the 2500 has the front shocks inside the springs that fit a solid axel, the 2500 dosent have rack and pinion staering, the 1500 has, makes for a nice car, ****ty truck.
As said, unless you have a mega cab ( than you don't need to up grade the springs ) its not worth the effort, unless you get air bags, front and rear.
I have a 2004 ram 1500 quad cab hemi80k milesw/ a 1st gen fisher mm plow, and western pro flow2 tail gate sander, i plow large parkking lots and businesses, i have not broken anything on my truck(yet), i put the plow on3 years, ive hit some bumps and stuff but i guess ive been lucky, if you are going to plow more then 10 times a year heavey snow 12+inches, i would have to say that these trucks can do it, but any more then that, id get a beater truck with a plow and sell yours to get a 2500 for next year! just my 2 cents.....

Sorry to burst your bubble.. but starting in 06 the 1500 do use the coil springs.. tho not the same strength.....but they use coils nonetheless.....

Unless you have a mega cab 1500, you cannot run 2500 springs in the front of a 1500; the standard 1500 chassis uses torsion bars and the 2500 chassis uses coil springs.
