[:@] I have an 04 Ram Hemi 2 wd. When it get cold below 32 the throttle cable or sensor freezes. I can start but I can not move the truck or even rev the enging. The service said they can not fix this proplem and it has happened only to a few ram's. They suggest to let the truck warm up for 10 to 15 minutes...this was straight from HQ. HELP

19 mpg????? I'm not sure mine (04 hemi qc) would see that if I turned the engine off to coast down hill. Best I've ever seen is about 16.5 on open highway under 65, and this thing cruises so nice it's ususually never below 65.

I do most of my driving in city. I had been getting about 12.5, just switched to Mobil1 and now getting mid to high 13's....again mostly city some highway in there. I'm not calling it a problem...you don't buy a truck like this for the mileage.

Bu, whatever you're doing to get 19, let us know!
I just finished a tank yesterday. I reset the computer before I drove off the lot with the new truck. I filled up and checked the computer...18.2mpg average.

I drive mixed city and highway and try to keep my foot out of it. I've occassionally dug deep into the throttle on the highway (the Hemi is STRONG) but on the whole, I try to keep my foot tame.

We'll see what I get on this tank of gas. I dunno if things will get better or worse since I've owned the truck less than a week and have about 305 miles on it.

19 MPG was on a controlled run of 200 miles going to Palm Springs and back. My 04 QC 4X4 Hemi is stock except for a Volant CAI. To get that mileage I drove no faster than 65 MPH with a very light foot. I also converted all fluids to synthetic (Amsoil) at 3K. I'm still getting 13.5 to 14 mpg around town and 16.5 on the open road doing 70 mph. Again I not usually in a hurry so driving with a light foot is no problem. When I tow my boat (Approx 5500 lbs) my best mileage to date is 12.5. The worst was 10.1 when I was in a hurry driving home throught the desert at 70 plus. I just clicked 12 K on my Dodge with no problems, my co-worker has over 50K so far with no problems as well. I keep hearing about valve springs problems, yet I've never met anyone who has had this problem.
