? for tire guys
well, alot of tires out there you wouldnt know if they well inflated to correct psi. i know my tires are max 44psi and theyve been down to 20 and they didnt look low. basically to answer you question; too low would have to be assumed as not the max. i check mine periodically like when i do my oil or any kind of maintenance.
The only "True" way to tell if they are too high or too low is with the wear pattern. If they wear in the center, PSI is too high, Wear on the sides more, PSI is too low. wear evenly, your okay.
As a general rule 35 is a good starting point. you can adjust +/- 5 psi from there to get what you think is best.
There are a LOT of other factors here though, sidewall roll. wear caused by improper balance/alignment etc. so...i guess i didnt really help you sorry

Just a little info.
If you correctly check your tyres (UK spelling guys), you will have less rolling resistance = more MPG than and underinflated tyre.
Also, here in the UK, it's common for us to check our tyre pressures every week and we're actively encouraged to do so, by the various policing and automotive authorities.

on the motorcycles, we do it every ride, or every week if the bike is being ridden every day...for the trucks, probably once a month or so...
we have it easy, on the wall of the pole barn with have a 100' airhose and a milton inflator hooked to IR type 30 compressor. All the clean air we want at 175psi.

I have my compressor in the garage and I check all my vehicles weekly. with the weather recently cooled. I lost close to 4 psi in every tire of every car

but yea just check your tires.... keep them at the max... no reason for the lowest unless off road....
i'll ck inside the door then. but i'm not going to run at 85 psi for milage or not! rode rough at 58 so i'm running 45lbs. rides much better, wear and handeling good.
