yes, 16 plugs, 8 coil packs. each coil pack fires 2 plugs, one on each bank of cylinders. This insures that if a coil pack fails, you still fire all 8 holes!

its to help also with emissions and making sure you get the air/fuel mixture burnt properly

Whew, 16 spark plugs. that sounds like an expensive tune up..... that coupled with the price of gas......whew....just my .02

spark plugs are like a dollar 25 a piece... every 30k not too bad!

It's not just the hemis that have 16 sparkplugs now either. The '08 4.7 also sports 16 sparkplugs as well.

Yeah, we just changed a friends plugs, and just get copper champions, it run crappy with anything else.
