Hey chongo, You have the big horns long enough to evaluate tire wear? My buddy had em on is tacoma, and loved em. Put em on the tundra and the weight/torque ate them up quick.
I have a new set on the rear - and they have almost 4K on them - they are looking good so far - they have alot of hwy miles and quite a bit of dirt roads as well - and they are holding up fine
u can't beat a michelin for ride and longevity. bfg for a mudder. can get both most any where. don't go for the special order stuff, can leave u high and dry on a road trip!
After fixing several flats and balding off the junk factory GY Wranglers (20's), I upgraded to the widest that would work GY Eagle GTII (300 50 20) Much better tire for about the same money, but still no life span or off road durribility not to mention dirt grip. I found an awesome buy on a set ofGood Years Wrangler AT/S 275 65 20-10 plys! For a price of between 800 & 825 dollars you will not find a better all around tire for a 4x4. I have 15000 on them and thier great on and off road.
