Had my front shocks replaced on my 2006 hemi today. The seals both blew out, and were leaking oil. The shop said they are seeing this a lot with the 06's. Usually in the 20-30k range, but some as low as 5-10k miles.

No service bulletin, just though i would give you guys the heads up to be on the lookout. Dealership did not hesitate to replace them under warranty

 

Been hearing about it a lot on notonly the '06s but the '07s as well...

 

We haven't seen any problems yet. And on a 2006 Hemi, only an averave of 9 shocks are sold weekly. And that includes all 4000 dealers.

 

Well...My local shp new when i called, and were jokign when i got there. "we have this down to science now, be doen in an hour" there was another there for the same thing...

Maybe something with the cold, i am in the nw

 

Got 11K on my 06, so far so good.
