Has anyone noticed the dramatic increase in threads like "my truck got rear ended" and just stuff like that??? Did ram owners **** someone off that now everyone is out to get them?? I mean seriously this is weird as hell.

Maybe that is where the saying "If you can't Dodge it, Ram it!" came from!

It's not that more people are gettting rear ended and stuff... Just more people bringing it up so it seems that its a more common occurance...

I attribute it to the increasing number of morons that can't drive. Too busy yapping on cell phones, or texting other people to worry about something as trivial as driving.

I stopped a woman the other day who was too busyyapping on her cell phone, to realize she wasdriving past a school bus, unloading kids, with the overhead, flashing red lights on....[:@]

My guess is, it is Weather. Slicker roads cause more sliding cars.

My truck's been hit 4 times (two where getting rearended with no damage). These rams are like tanks, they do a great job of protecting the people inside the truck. [/align]

I mean honestly it pisses me off so bad when dumbasses ruin nice things. I really want a new truck and it's looking like I can afford the payments ATM but I have a temper and a bit of road rage. I'm not gonna lie about that. and i'm hoenstly afraid of what I might do if someone was to hit my new truck. Depends on how they would act about it.

Then you basically have 3 choices....

1.) Buy a new truck and go to jail for assaulting someone that accidently hits your vehicle.

2.) Buy a new truck and like the rest of us: Hope for the best and let your insurance handle any damage, despite how angry it makes you.

3.) Drive a beater, and avoid having to deal with issues like people hitting it, scratches or damage, that inevitibly will happen to a vehicle through it's life.

I didn't paint my Harley for years, (74 FLH) because I didn't want to deal with scratches, or some tool-bag scuffing against it, or knocking it over a ruining the expensive paint. I finally painted it....

You can't control destiny, or other people's actions. Only your own....

Get good insurance and a low deductable.
