You should ask them about it prior to letting them do the work. If you feel it's unwarranted, you are always free to get another quote somewhere else.

If there's anything in the bed, more than what can be blown out with an airgun, (oil, gravel, mud, loose, but partially stuck dibris, splooge, cake, cream filling or vasoline) then an additional charge is added.

It's kinda BS, considering what you're paying for the liner. It's like when you take your vehicle to the dealer, and they tack on that f*cked up "Enviromental fee" for getting rid of petroleum products...... well, not JUST like, but you get the idea.

If it is charged to most customers, it should just be included in their total price. Stop the “this and that” type charges. When I ran my own custom furniture business, what I quoted you is what you paid. No added fees. Red

They add the charges as a separate line item because most manufactuers want there dealers to sell the product at a set price. If the dealer jacks up the price for what ever reason and the manufactuer finds out, they havve the chance to lose their dealer card and won't be able to sell the product anymore. I get stuck doing the same thing with alot of my products that I service and sell. The manufactuer says I can only charge so much, but I incur extra charges that need to be added. So I have to charge for these items separately and document to protect my butt. Now on a side note, if I sell/service tons of the product I don't charge certain fees because of the volume of sells.

OMG!! A true American business man! My hat's off to you, sir! I worked thirty-two years for a company that worked the same way. "You got the quote, we do it for that quote." The only time that changed was when the job changed. Didn't charge "change order fees" either.
