Well, I didn't talk about pricing because I'm an employee, which changes things a bit. Mine had a sticker just under $45,000. Employee discount, which is 3-6% below invoice and is about 14.5% off MSRP was, (-$6,500) it had a rebate of (-$6,000), and because the dealer over ordered and stillhad 6 PWs on their lot I was able to haggle another (-$1,000) off the price with a bed liner and wheel wells included. It took me the better part of a Saturday, but I paid about $31,000 before taxes and title.

An '08 for $49,000, employee discount (-$7,100), with a rebate (-$4,500) gets you to $37,400 before tax and title. If you have to order, I doubt you'll have much room for haggling so unless the dealer has some special incentives to make volume quotas (dealers sometimes get, used to get anyways, money back fromChrysler ifthey make volume quotas) pretty much $37,400 is the best price I could get around here if I ordered one. Hope this helps.

DCX,

It helps a bunch.

You have a sweet deal, since you can get a 08 PW with an MSRP of $49,000 for about $37,400, what do you think I would have to pay for the same PW if I found one on a lot today? That is an open question for anybody else too.

I have a 2005 Power Wagon. I love this truck. Not the ideal truck, in my opinion, for regular towing duties. I pull my 4,000 pound Wrangler every now and then and I can cetainly feel it back there. Going up hills is a struggle to keep it from down-shifting and up-shifting costantly. I do not worry about it though because I bought the truck for its off-road capabilities and not for towing needs. Good luck with your decision!
