should be a pretty easy install from looking at what b white posted. only one ignition and an accesory that makes life easy. most alarms if there is more than three you need an extra relay. and use the 556UW bypass it's one of the easies to use

i have a remote start alarm from audiovox that hasa 2 way pager and all that. so i've been looking around to get put in my 07 quadcab....can't find a good place. called cartoys and they said it would be 300 dollars just for the install, plus 100 for a bypass module that would bypass the keyless entry already on the stokc key plus another 100 to put that in and program it......

is it just me or does that sound like complete bull****? thats like 500 dollars to put in this alarm. just to put it in.
the reason it is so high is becoause no body wants to install a used alarm. the dont know if it works before they install and then they have to a item that isnt the norm for them to install. So if you have ever worked on a car after someone else you know why they charge so much

exactly as above. When I installed I hated trying to piece together used junk. I could install one of the Python or Schoshe Systems We Sold in half the time.

I agree with the above, most places can do it for cheaper with a new product than an old one. My Viper alarm I had put in a while back has everything you're describing except for the remote start because I didn't want it and bran new installed after everything was said and done was $550. But in any case unless you're really good with wiring schematics and not electronically challenged when it comes down to wiring/soldering and all that fun stuff I'd either bite the bullet and sell the one you have now on ebay and buy a new one that will probably better than the one you have and "cheaper". Not to mention if they put in your old one there is no guarantee that it will even work afterwards and they cant guarantee it either, so you could potentially be out $500 with nothing to show for it.
