Default Just the Muffler?

What are the advantages of doing a catback system versus just doing a muffler?

Well usually doing a completely catback is going to be better flowing. When I upgraded I used bigger piping. If you just throw a muffler in there, it will probably still be loud, but you'll still be using the same stock piping, so performance is going to be limited to just a better flowing muffler, as opposed to a better flowing system if you went all out. It depends what your into. IF you want sound, just slap the muffler in there. If you want sound and some looks, do the catback and get some nice tips to hang out. And if you are a freak, like me, and want sound, perfrmance and looks, get the headers, performance cat, performance mufflers, bigger piping, and nice tips. It's what your into though ya know??
