at the dealership I got my ram at they've had a purple (dubbed grape ape) and an orange (dubbed orange crush) hemi ram thats not a rumble bee. next time I'm over that way I'll try to have my digi came with me and snap a pic of the two of them.

 

The "shock" colors are coming back it sounds like. Personally I love my graphite truck.

 

and while the shock colors as you call them are rather interesting. . .I do have to agree with you. . .

Well, no it's not pushing it. The Hemi IS badass. It's the truck that's not. Have you driven a Magnum r/t Hemi? It's badass. You driven a 300 Hemi? It's badass. How about the Hemi Grand Cherokee, it's even on the verge of badass. The Hemi Ram... Good Truck. So the "Hemi", ya it's badass...

ALSO: compared to the motor that came in my r/t when it was stock... 255 hp for 5.9 liters. Ya the Hemi is a freak.

 

Try pushing in the tow button, Your engine will run on all eight cylinders. instead of dropping down as the rpm's go up.I get poor mileage locally but when I tow my boat My mileage goes up. ,I think it's because I'm using all eight cylinder's. And it sounds much better with the duals .Locally I get around 10.2 , lots of red lights and stop signs, but when I tow the boat in the same area I get 13.4 mpg. The boat and trailer weigh around 6,000 lbs.So this tank of gas I'm going to keep it in the tow mode.

Mine is a 2004 model, production #163, 1 of 43 that was used in the carolina dodge dealers 400 by ricky craven................and as far as speed & mods go, there is a ton of stuff available for the hemi rams now............

Now who says that the HEMI can't be turned into a hot rod??????????????????? With the BEE, you get a killer looking truck and with the mods coming out finally, they can be turned into some wicked machines



The "old school" colored trucks you guys are talking about is the line up of the LA West trucks. The 2004 models were deemed as GTX trucks. The 2005 models are called GTXtreme trucks Another appearance pkg. truck, no engine mods, but I do believe it has an AM exhaust system. These trucks come in orange.purple, lime green, and yellow. I've even heard tale of a white one, but unless its a new color for the 2005 models, it a fake GTX.
