Default Truck not switching to 4 wheel drive

Had the truck in 4 hi last night to run some errands in the snow. This morning went out and took it out of 4 when I left house, got where I was going and had to put it back in. A couple clunks later, no four wheel drive, 4x4 light flashes (including when shift to 4 low). Yes I was going slow when I shifted to 4 (around 10mph).
Here's my worry, if I take it to the dealership are they going to say tough s*&t since I have the lift? Suggestions?

i would wait to see what parts/service has to say about the dealerships... as far as i know as long as the lift didnt cause the problem they cant hold it accountable for anything.... do you have electronic or shift?

It's going to be the actuator. Has nothing to do with a suspension modification, so don't let them not honor it.
And Broich, your dealer is full of sh*t, I hear it's fairly common on 06s & 07s.

THE 4X4 IS VACUUM FED IF PUSH BUTTON, HAD MY AVALANCHE DO THAT, ITS THE ACTUATOR, THE VACUUM TRIES FOR ABOUT 3 SECS BUT NOTHING. ONCE IT STICKS, MINE NEVER UNSTUCK TILL I DID IT FOR IT. EASY FIX

Yea, I'm sure of it. I've blown actuators in my ATVs a few times and it's the exact same symptoms...

Ok service guy's. Will dodge tell me they won't pay to fix it if it is the actuator since I lifted my truck? Don't want to take it in to get done and drive out with a $1000 bill because the warranty is void from the lift.

Only if they can PROVE that the lift caused the problem...
