How about the 2500? Does anyone know if you can Install the tow hooks on the 2500 with out taking the bumper off?
I have a 1500 MegaCab 4x4, which is built on the 2500 frame. I'd love to add tow hooks, Just not too thrilled about having to mess with the bumper.
Thanks,
-ThaChad

Best i could do, its below freezing here in south texas so dont want to freeze my ***** to take a pic of mine.
Motorhead is right, you are limited in what you can strap to it as there is no clip and the hooks don't curve much, a quick cure is to loop around one of the hooks, (say the passenger side) then wrap the rope (or whatever, I use a 15k lb flat strap with loops) around the driverside hook, once its over the driver side hook pull it up between the strap (thats going from the passenger hook to driver hook) and the front of the truck. This will make it impossible for the strap to come off. Sorry if it sounds complicated but its really simple once you look at it. I use that method mostly at the coast when i tow railroad ties or what appears to be telephone polls that wash ashore on the gulf in North Padre Island. But I have towed people out of ditches and some mud holes and have not had any issues.
