Take a look at the PRO TECH tool boxes I think they are all alum. These boxes are very light and will take a ton of abuse. They don't give the away so be prepared for sticker shock. They do make a VERY CLEAN looking box. Check the out

Well I would like to have a toolbox in my single cab short bed truck. I would like to carry things that I can't really carry in a single cab truck.... plus the lock so people cant get into it(cops and parents hehe)

Well I don't have a work truck at all. I am not sure if it would look good. The toolbox would be black anyway. Let me know what you think.

I would like to get a chest toolbox (that doesn't show over the bed at all)> any opinions on companies to buy from??

THANKS!
Austin
Unless you're a criminal, why would you be worried about cops? You should be more worried about the crooks, who want what you have.....inside the tool box...

panama....

I am assuming he is underage, so you can't just go cruising around with beer in the back of the truck, or go home like that.

I have a Tractor Supply truck box, not the greatest one around. But because of how damn expensive these things are they are a good quality for the price. I would give them 1 and 3/4 thumbs up.

Yeah I am underage. The toolbox is for that AND for my next truck. On my next truck(diesel btw) I will carry tow straps and whatnot in it.. Since its xmas I want to go ahead and see if I can get a toolbox.

then the cover to help with gas, and cover the toolbox.

Also my best friend has a toolbox in his lifted Chevy. We have been pulled over many times without the cop asking to open it! maybe were lucky...
