Default toolbox opinions and advice?

Well I would like to have a toolbox in my single cab short bed truck. I would like to carry things that I can't really carry in a single cab truck.... plus the lock so people cant get into it(cops and parents hehe)

Well I don't have a work truck at all. I am not sure if it would look good. The toolbox would be black anyway. Let me know what you think.

I would like to get a chest toolbox (that doesn't show over the bed at all)> any opinions on companies to buy from??

THANKS!
Austin

Tractor Supply makes really good tool chests....failing that go buy a RIGID site box its steel and alot meatier then a regular tookl chest...and by the way cops can get into your tool box all they have to say is open it or Im impounding your truck...(personal experience.. )

I have a low pro black, by delta. I love it, it looks great. Ill try for some pics, no camera right now.

I will say, if you load stuff in your bed a lot, anny sort of ding or nick in the front casues it to chip. I dont know if they have fixed this or not, my friends black finish is almost gone after 2 years, i have had mine for about a year and a half. Only recenty chipped it, and only with concrete.

imo it has held up well to all my line tools and trailer hitches being thrown in and out of it

You can find some knock offs, and alot of plastic ones, IMO get a Delta, or a Tractor Supply one, they are built better
