I wonder if it's any easier to use when it's cold out than mine.
I have an Extang Freedom with snaps. They marketed it with adjustable snaps to allow ez snapping in cold weather. I'm now waiting for a sunny day to get the back snapped on again. I thought about putting a heater under it but have most of them snapped now.

It's an Extang RT Low Profile.. As far as being easier when it's cold, I think it is a thousand times better that my old one when it's cold out. With this one, there are actually 2 screws at the front that you can adjust the tension. No snaps to deal with. The way the back attaches you basically just push down and it clicks into place.. If you need I can gta pic of how east it is to roll it up and close it... No more removing supports or losing supports.

That's why I was looking for a model number so I can get some literature. There's a truck accessory place near me that has Extang products so I'll probably go there.
