please read this older post:

Dodge Forum members could share info
and come up with inexpensive underdrive pulleys
using the parts on other vehicles

6 hemi ram--

You might consider going to an E-fan to free up parasitic loss. The factory fan not only helps cool the engine, but it tends to act like an air brake too!! For the money you're looking at spending for an underdrive pulley, you would be bucks ahead installing an e-fan. One of the aftermarket companies has one that is a "factory fit" now, I'll try to find it and post a link to their site. There have been a few guys here on the forum that have installed them with good success.

I did a search in the 3rd gen forum and finally found it. This will be one of my mods before long.
As Hammer said below, its a good mod that's not very expensive.

+1

I havea Flex-A-Lite 180 Extreme and love it. Frees up in the area of 15 HP. Easy install in the driveway in about 1.5 hours. Very good mod, because it's always pulling 3300 cpm regardless of engine rpm you'll never have to worry about overheating in stop and go traffic or when just crawling off road. You could also install a manual switch for muddin' or crossing water so you don't pull crud into your radiator fins...
