Default lower a 2008 1 inch

I need help. 2008 Regular Cab SWB 1500 w/ 20" wheels. I need to lower the back about 1 inch to clear my garage opening. I do not want to spend a lot of money. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The cheapest way would be to just throw some weight in the back.

best way to do it would be use some sort of lowering kit. you could also take out a leaf spring...but it would prob ride rougher.

I can't believe you guys haven't heard of doing this!! Torch those springs and watch the front end drop. It is pretty ghetto, but it works. I am pretty sure he needs the front end down to clear the garage, not the bed.

Don't heat your springs....Its just not a good idea. Do it correctly like mentioned above.
