Default Engine keeps dying. Help?

Alright guys, i came here a while back seeking help and got it, so now i'm back again. Lately my engine has been shutting off on me, ALWAYS when slowing to a stop. The rpm's shoot down and it dies. I had it in the shop for 3 days, and they couldn't find any problems with it ( that were more-so obvious. ) What they have done though: checked vac's, checked belt's, checked my fuel pump, cleaned my clutch plate, did a full diagnositics test, ran cleaners through various places and some other things i can't remember off the top of my head. Nothing has worked so far. So far it's stumped everyone that's looked at it. It's quite frustrating since it literally dies, or at leats tries to die ( before i tap the gas when rpm's drop. ), at least twice a day. Oh, i almost forgot - when it's running cold, (right on C. ) it never dies. However, when it warms up just slightly, that's when it typically dies. ( This whole problem came very suddenly. ) Please throw some idea's at me!

My truck - 2004 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4X4 SLT.

I think there has been a few others with simular problems something about the idle to low. I think most went to the dealer and got re-flashed and that fixed the problem. Hope this helps but I am sure others will chime in and correct me if I am wrong.

Well they did re-adjust my idle. Possibly not enough. It's going back to the shop the 2nd unless it's something i can fix myself. Either way, the shop takes way to damn long and appearantly it's not an obvious problem.

Try a reflash, or do a search for cam sensor, i know it is a common enough problem, and causes the truck to die. it is like a 20-30 dollar part

It runs really well, then just cuts off.

Is your shop a dealership or just a local shop?

It's a local shop. Problem is, i'm afraid of it dying on a highway or busy road. But, there is a dealership on 37 about 2 mi. away. I could probably make it without incident, though it's progressively getting worse. Im pretty sure itsa chevy/jeep/chrysler/dodge dealership. I hope...

Take it to the dealership. They will most likely do as the others said, reflash the computer. A local shop will not do this.

my truck just did this today too. runs perfect then when you come to a stop it'll just die. never during acceleration just when coming to a stop. its not the cam sensor, replaced it twice, still does it. don't waist your money. i created a small vacuum leak by the break booster to increase the idle a bit, has not done it yet but we'll see. i'm in cleveland, wondering if its the crap in the gas to prevent freeze up.
