Amen to that. That subject line was just begging for someone to say something!!! I prefer Pepto when my rear-end is leaking.

Sounds like someone knew it was leaking and tried to seal it up to conceal the issue during the sale. Sucks!!! Like others have said, replace the seals, etc. on both sides while your at it. It's not a horribly tough job, and doing it right will save you down the road.

Yep,

Had mine in for right rear axle seal and front diff pinion seal this last early summer (warranty), since then no further problems.

I have just under 70K on mine now
