i tightened mine but alot of people will tell you to get the keys. When I tightened them it did stiffen the ride but not to were it was crazy. I liked it becuase the stiffer front end compesated for the airbags i put on the rear. Either way you need longer shocks in the front. I actually got procomp mx6 shocks that were for a 85 toyota with a 4" lift. I then had to cut out the orgial bushings and replace them with smaller sleeves. The new shocks actually lifted my truck another quater inch becuase there stiffer. The new keys however keep the stock ride. Both will put strain on the cv joints, tie rod ends, etc. I didn't realy care becuase i want to put a rancho lift on mine in the far future and this was just to look good for now.

Tis true, any method you use save a suspension lift will put some pressure on key front end components, especially the CV joints (F**K YOU, TDMopar ). Cranking the T-bars enough to level the ride will harshen the front end quite a bit. Some are OK with it, others crank them back down. The keys will harshen it up a little, but not near as much as a T-bar crank. Because of the low cost and relative ease of installation, I'd say get the keys...

BTW: KX, Get the Rancho lift, I've ridden in or driven them all, and it handles better than any of the suspension lifts I've been in. I don't know if it's better design/components or simply the fact that at 4" it's just a little more centered than the 6" kits. But I've got friends with Fabtech, Pro Comp & SkyJacker lifts & 35's who all agree that mine handles better both off road & on pavement.

I really like th 4" lift becuase its not over kill like a 6". plus the bigger the lift the less capabilties it has offroadig in the desert. I realy like how the desertpatrol have there trucks set up. a 4" lift will get the truck anywere its capabale of going.

SECOND QUESTION......

i have the air bags in the rear but have not used them yet, will those lift the rear of the truck?? and also how much PSI do you use becuase i cant see any max psi on the air bag itself so i havent used them.. thanks jeff

always keep 5psi minimum. 100psi max. I usually put 70psi when towing a 1000+ tongue weight. Oh and from now one never lift the rear of the truck by the frame. It will cuase the bags to stretch and could weaken them. I went the extra mile to get real semi air hoses. There the same size just alot beefier. Its around $40 for 20ft i think.

the bags could lift the truck maybe and inch or two but it will ride so crappy its not even funny. When weighted the it will keep the truck level and it feels like your riding on air LITERALLY.
