Default Tune up day

It was a fulfilling day today. Changed my oil, put some new brake pads on the rear end, got some new tires, cleaned my k&n filter, put some new spark plugs in, and finished everything of with a nice wash....now I am ready for a trip to vegas tomorrow! I just found out from my wife that I may get to take my tuck on a pass down the 1/4 mile at the vegas speedway....that would be neat to have a time slip.

The Vegas Speedway is an awesome track. I have never raced there but have been to the Summit Nationals there a couple times...

To me, it always feels good knowing I've taken care of my baby the right way. My nieghbor asks why I do it and says he can get things as cheap as doing it myself. My reply is that I actually enjoy working on my truck, and don't trust anyone else to put as much care into the job as I do. Knowing it's in tip-top shape is a source of pride IMO

Have fun at the Speedway in 'Vegas...being located somewhat close (within a 9 hour drive or 45 min flight) I've been a few times to watch locals and others mess around. All seem to say it's a way nice track, but it bites better in the evenings (during the summer)..
