i have a 04 ram 1500 4x4 i have decided to get the 1-3inch torsion key lift for the front, u can put a 3inch body lift on with the key right??
im looking to gett the most for the money lift, if you can do this id get like 6inch in the front and 3inches in the rear... or i was looking at a 4.5inch lift, but they are like 1000bucks, vs 100.00 for the key and 250-350 body lift.

 

Yea, I know a few people who went that route. The body kit alone takes the whole truck up 3" so you still need the level kit to level it out. Just a word of advise though, you get what you pay for. You may have about 5" of lift in the front and 3" in the rear, but it will bounce you to death off road. If you are just going for looks here, then this will be OK, but take it from someone who has had both body and suspension lifts, the difference in ride and handling between the two is night and day...

 

yeah, i know you get what you pay for, do you know of any suspenion lifts that are reasonalbly priced?

 

I know it aint cheap, but my pro comp lift rides like it did stock. If you ever plain on driving you truck anywere just wait untill you have anuff to do it right the first time
