Default opinions on a tire

alright, it's time for my new set of tires for my truck, 2003 with only 30000 miles, not bad. I'm looking for a tire for great traction on takeoff. nothing crazy speed rated, no road noise and a pretty clean sidewall for a 20x10.5 .no offroad tires from you mud heads

NItto, perelli, cooper, toyo, from what I've heard around tire shops all have good traction, and decent wear. Bridgestone has even been mentioned, and IMO you can't do too much wrong with BFG's alot of people I talk to around here like em. Then again there's always MT's and Hoosier.

The Pirelli tires that came on the SRT were horrible.

If they make it in your size the best tire IMO is the BFG G-Force. They are pricey though. Also Toyo Proxes STsand General Grabbers UHPsare good for less $$. I ended up with Generals on my SRT, I can buy two sets to one set of G-Forces.

I installed new Toyo Proxes ST, 305/50/20 several months ago. I love em. The are wide, look great, ride great, and super great driving in the rain. Excellent traction all the way around. I highly recommend them.

Yeah I've gotta say the Generals are some good tires. I bought a set from Kauffman Tires yesterday & they have a good ride to them. I went there with the intentions to get a set of Pirelli Scorpions but they were out.
