I want to put in an aftermarket navigation system and I would prefer a stock look. The problem is my truck did not come with navigation and they say a double din reciever won't fit without a dash bezel made for the stock navigation. I don't know where to look for such a thing. Anyone have any ideas??? E-bay is out unless 2006-2007 parts will go in a 2005. It doesn't look like they match up.

 

you could go with a RB1 or RB4 but they lack many features. I have been wondering about this myself and what I have come up with is getting the pillar mount for an edge tuner and molding it to fit my navi. I can't think of any better solution, maybe someone else can?

 

you could modify your dash bezel to fit an aftermarket unit, like my avic d3 in my '05

yea i was wanting to put the new style navi in my 04.5 but dont wanna cut or break anything i might regret later......

 

just get a junkyard piece

 

dose anyone out there know for a fact if the 08-09 ram navigation can be retrofited in a 04-05 ram...?? I already know that the plugs are different but i don't know if there is a addapter cable for it or not...?? i would gratly apreciate any feed back.

for us 02-05 guys you need to custom make a 2 din bezel or go with a 1 din nav

im not so worried about the bezel, that i can customize... im worried will the mygig work at all electonic wise and so forth... thanks guys.
