I have a 2008 HD 2500 Hemi 6 speed manual. What is the redine on this combo?

if memory serves its 5800RPM
345 hp@ 5600 rpm
375 lb/ft torque @ 4400 rpm

so i would shift max at 5650.

you can find out by hitting the rev limiter.

tuners let you bump the rev limiter up to 6100. If I remember right it's 5800 or 5850 stock, and the stock internals are good for about 6300 rpm. [/align]

I hit 6000 rpm yestrerday in 4rth, spanked a ctd really bad, ctd was a 6sp, my hemi is a 6sp, I will not do this again, I have found shifting at 1500 rpm gives the best milage and performance due to the torque of the hemi.

Any stock pushrod V8 i'd keep the revs under 6000rpms...but that's just me.

shifting at 1500... jeese.. first gear doesnt last.. at least give it 2k every once in a while LOL
